MP Norman Lamb to go boating with the Nancy Oldfield Trust |

North Norfolk MP Norman Lamb will go boating on Barton Broad with the Nancy Oldfield Trust, which offers waterborne activities for disabled and disadvanted people at Neatishead, on Thursday 28 August, 10 am.
Mr Lamb will go canoeing or take a trip on the Trust's 28 ft electric cruiser, ''White Admiral'', with members of the Lowestoft Visually Impaired Group who are regular visitors to the Trust.
He will be shown round the Trust's specially adapted waterside bungalow which sleeps 10, and its fleet of boats.
Disabled and disadvantaged people can visit the Trust with their carers for a day, weekend or week and enjoy sailing, motor boating, canoeing, fishing and bird-watching activities at low cost.
The Nancy Oldfield Trust is a charity set up by Richard Kenyon in memory of his parents. It attracts over 5,000.visitors a year who return time and again to sample the freedom and adventure that being on the water gives them.
The Trust is currently opening up its range of potential clients to include more disadvantaged people and is hoping to offer activities to schools and youth clubs.
