On Saturday 2nd July 2022 Emily Rebecca, Clarissa and Richard undertook a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) fundraiser to raise money for the Trust. They started out early in the morning from Horstead Mill, near Coltishall, and paddled the 20 miles to Barton Turf, along the rivers Bure and Ant. Along the way they were joined by fellow paddlers wishing to do their bit in support, including Heidi, Ric, Zoe, Katie, Jack, Emelia and Tamara – each bringing energy and lifting the spirits when they needed it.
The land support team, friends, family and members of the Trust were amazing; who were at each of the stops and particularly trustee Val who turned out to set us off at 6.30am and see us in again at 6pm!
A fantastic effort by the paddlers and the support team who have so managed to raise nearly £2000.
